Reprint and export photos
Reprint a layout during or after the event, and hand the photos over to your clients.
Reprint a layout
A guest lost their print, the printer ran out of paper mid-session, a client wants an extra copy: layouts are always saved in the event's Prints folder, even when printing failed.
From the Storage page
- Open Storage, choose the event and the Prints filter.
- Find the layout (the most recent come first).
- Start the reprint.
Direct reprinting from the gallery, on the active printer and with the Printers page settings, is part of the ongoing improvements to the Storage page. Depending on your version, use the method below.
From the system viewer
- In Storage, tap the layout: it opens in the system viewer.
- Use the viewer's Print command (
Ctrl+P,⌘Pon Mac). - Choose the same printer and the same paper size as the booth, without scaling (“actual size” or “fit” depending on the driver), then print.
Do a trial on one sheet before reprinting in bulk: a viewer may add margins that BoothX doesn't.
During the event
With two screens, you can reprint from your screen without interrupting guests. With a single screen, wait for a lull: leaving the event requires the exit gesture and your code.
Export the photos
Copy the event folder
The simplest and most complete method:
- Storage › choose the event › Open folder.
- Copy the folder to a USB drive, an external drive or a file-sharing service.
If blocking of unknown USB drives is on, authorize the drive first: Settings › Kiosk › Authorized drives › Authorize connected drives.
Share the online gallery
If the online gallery is on, simply send its link to your client: they'll find all the photos and can download them. See Share QR code and online gallery.
From the web panel
On app.boothx.org, the Storage section gives access to the photos uploaded to the cloud, from any computer.
What to give the client?

Formats and quality
- Layouts are saved as JPEG, at the template's resolution.
- Raw photos keep the camera's quality (set the camera to JPEG L fine for a good compromise).
- Video messages are in MP4.
After the export
Once the files have been handed over and backed up, you can delete the event from the booth to free up space. Also remember the personal data from any contest: export it, then purge it (see Contest: GDPR consent, CSV export and purge).
