Storage and statistics
Dashboard statistics step by step
Filter by event and period, read the key figures, hourly traffic, the trend and the top events, and build a client report.
Statistics rolling out. Detailed statistics arrive with the latest BoothX releases. Depending on your version, some cards may not appear yet; basic activity is described in Booth statistics and activity.
The Dashboard contains a Statistics section that tells the story of the booth's activity: how many photos, when, and for which event. Everything is calculated on the booth, without internet, and contains no personal data: only counters.
What is counted
| Counter | When it increases |
|---|---|
| Photos | With each saved photo. |
| Sessions | With each completed guest session (a session can contain several photos). |
| Prints | With each printed copy. |
| Shares | With each share (sending, QR code viewed from the booth depending on the version). |
| Videos | With each video message kept. |
| Games | With each game played. |
Filters
At the top of the section:
- Event: a chip lets you pick an event. When empty, the statistics cover the whole booth.
- Period: 7 days, 30 days or All.
Filters can be combined: for example “Léa & Hugo's Wedding” with All, for a complete event report.
Key figures
A row of animated figures:
- Photos, Sessions and Prints, with their percentage change compared with the previous period of the same length;
- the peak hour: the time of day when the booth took the most photos;
- the number of active days in the period.
A second row shows shares, videos and games, as well as the all-time total.
Hourly traffic
A bar chart shows photos by hour of the day. The peak hour's bar is highlighted. Tap a bar to see its details.
What is it for?
- For a wedding: check that the booth was really used after dinner, and schedule staff at the right times next time.
- For a trade show: find out what times the booth draws the most visitors, and focus your activities there.
Times are the booth's times (local time).
Trend
A chart combines photos per day (bars) and sessions (line, on its own scale). Tap a day to see its details.
What is it for? At a multi-day trade show, compare the days; over 30 days, see the pace of your business.
Top events
The list of the most active events in the period. Tap an event to filter all statistics on it.
Section states
- Calculating: on first display, while the figures are computed.
- Empty: “Launch your first event…”, with a button to the events.
- Event with no activity: the selected event has not recorded anything yet in the period.
Build a client report
After the event:
- Choose the event and the All period.
- Note down: photos, sessions, prints, peak hour, shares, videos, games played.
- Add data from the web panel if the gallery was online: gallery views and downloads (see Booth statistics and activity).
- For a contest: number of entries and prizes awarded (Scores tab of the Games page).
A simple report template:
| Indicator | Value |
|---|---|
| Photo sessions | … |
| Photos taken | … |
| Prints | … |
| Peak hour | … |
| Video messages / guestbook pages | … |
| Games played, entries | … |
| Gallery views | … |
For your business
- Compare the 30 days period with the previous one: the percentage change shows whether your business is growing.
- Look at the top events over All to see which types of events generate the most sessions.
- Use the peak hour to adjust the length of your services.
Statistics and privacy
Statistics contain no photos, names or contact details: only dated numbers. They can be kept indefinitely and shared with your clients. See What stays on the booth, what goes online.
Frequently asked questions
Do statistics work offline? Yes, entirely.
Does deleting photos lower the statistics? No: a counted photo stays counted, even if the file is deleted later. Statistics measure activity, not disk content.
Tests skew my numbers. Run your tests on a dedicated event, then exclude it with the event filter.
