Sign in and link the booth to your account

Linking the booth to your BoothX account lets you find your events on the web panel, monitor the booth's status remotely, sync your settings profiles and publish online galleries. Shooting, editing and printing work without an account.

Sign in

1. On the Sign in screen, click Sign in.
2. Your browser opens on auth.boothx.org. Sign in with a code received by email, with Google or with Apple. There's no password to remember.
3. The browser confirms the sign-in: go back to BoothX.

While waiting, BoothX shows Signing in to your account… and asks you to finish in the browser. If the tab was closed, click Reopen the browser. Cancel takes you back to the sign-in screen.

By continuing, you accept the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, available through the links on the sign-in screen.

Choose or create the booth

Once you're signed in, BoothX asks which booth this computer corresponds to:

• your account already has booths: the Choose a booth list shows them with their status (Online, Maintenance, Offline). Select the one that matches this device;
• new booth: choose New booth, give it a name (for example “Living room booth”) and, if you like, a location, then click Create and link.

The booth then gets its own secure access and appears in My booths on app.boothx.org.

If the chosen booth is already in use on another computer, it will be signed out there. A booth corresponds to one computer at a time.

Check the link

The Dashboard shows the This booth card with its name, its ID and the cloud storage space used. At the top right, the cloud status button shows:

• Booth connected or Booth offline;
• the Sync status (Pending, In progress…, Error) and the date of the last sync;
• Real time mode (changes made on the panel arrive immediately) or Periodic sync.

The Sync now button forces an immediate exchange with the panel.

Change booth or account

• Change booth: on the Dashboard, This booth card, then Change booth. You get back to the list of the account's booths.
• Switch account: open the account menu (your avatar), then Switch account. The browser opens so you can sign in with another account.
• Sign out: account menu, Sign out. Events and photos stay on the computer.

Offline

BoothX is designed for venues with no network:

• the session stays valid for 7 days without a connection. After that, you'll need to sign in again once the network is back;
• everything you change offline (events, designs, settings) is sent to the panel as soon as the booth is back online;
• photos are always saved locally first.
